Life Lessons in Why Mentorship Isn’t Successful for Some Women
Here's the truth.
87% of the women who join Mentor Me programs find and secure a new role, making a minimum of a $25,000 salary increase within eight weeks. That's the truth of the hundreds of women that I've served in my programs.
And let me clarify how I measure their successes when talking about the amazing results they’ve shared with me. Success means that they are making more money, having more impact, finding and securing new roles, moving up in their current organizations, and securing major salary increases. That is success.
Today, I want to talk about the women who aren't successful in my programs.
87% of the women who join the program find and secure new roles within eight weeks. But there's about 5-7% of the women in that program who take longer than eight weeks. So I extended the program from eight weeks to twelve weeks just to give my mentees more time.
And there's another 5% of women who — life is just happening. Maybe they lost a loved one. Maybe they decided to grow their family and got pregnant. Maybe they had to move unexpectedly. So occasionally, a life event will happen to someone, and for that small percentage of women, life interrupts their entire job search, and they end up having to step out of the program.
I would say the third category of women is a much smaller percentage, maybe 2-3%, who ultimately learn that my program is simply not a good fit for them. And honestly, that small percentage occurs because I prescreen every woman who joins my program.
To join Mentor Me programs, you have to be able to commit to taking immediate action in your career. You have to be committed to completing the assessments every single week by the deadline, getting feedback from me and making corrections, and investing the necessary time.
So if you are a high-achieving professional woman who is looking to secure a minimum of a $25,000 salary increase over the next 90 days, then the time for you to join my programs is now.
