Life Lessons in How to Get Reinspired in Your Career

It's time to find inspiration…again! Maybe you spent the last few months just waiting until after the holiday break. Maybe you spent the last few months just waiting to start your search at the top of the year.

But it's a new day; it’s a new year.

Which means it's time to get reinspired and replenished. Refocus on your current goals and the things that you desire for your career so you can fully go after them this year! Let’s talk about two strategies for getting reinspired in your career.

  1. Be clear about your values - Remind yourself of the values that guide your decision-making. I like to think about values as a compass. So to get reinspired in your career, think about what you really care about so much that it actually drives your decision-making.

  2. Build a career development plan - As your mentor, I'm going to help you uncover what those values are and then leverage them to align a career development plan that will allow you to manifest those values. Using the values to direct the career development plan strengthens your efforts toward making more money and having more impact in your career.

I invite you to schedule a call with me this week so we can talk about your career.

I really want to encourage you not to over-research it, not to stall. Let's just hop on a phone call.

Too often when it comes to our career, we talk about passion and purpose, and degrees and credentials. We don't need to talk about any of that without first exploring what we care about and what guides our decision-making because that's what should guide our career. If you are already aware of those, you may need some help thinking through all that. You need a partner in sorting out all the objectives and paths to move forward. I want to be that mentor for you.
