Life Lessons in How to Rebound from 2022 Career Failures
Maybe 2022 just wasn't your year. It wasn't the year that you got the raise. It wasn't the year you got the promotion or made advances in your career. It wasn't the year that you made more money, added more flexibility, or found more time. Maybe 2022 just wasn't your year.
And if it wasn't, I want to share two strategies — just two strategies — to kind of help you reset and plan for 2023.
The first thing is I invite you to forgive yourself. Forgive yourself for the chances you didn't take and the investments that you didn't make. Excuse yourself for not staying on budget or not going to the gym like you had planned. Just forgive yourself. And commit to giving yourself some grace. If 2022 wasn't your year, that just means there's an opportunity for 2023 to be your year. Claim it as your year and put into practice the strategies that are going to help you realize that.
The second thing that I want you to do is to identify your values. Put in the work to define what beliefs are most important to you. And then measure the alignment of them. If you identify what your values are, what they mean to you, and then measure their alignment, you can then begin to evaluate what you need to be doing in the new year to really advance your life to meet those.
Over the past three years, my mentees have earned more than $1,000,000! That is nearly $1.5 million in salary increases, raises, and promotions. If you value earning more money or if you value what money can do for you and your family, there is no better community to be a part of then Mentor Me programs because they drive results for high-achieving professional women.
I don't want you to miss out on the opportunity to get the support you need. You can go right to my website to join Mentor Me programs at mentor-me.org. I’m excited to serve you and support you.
