Life Lessons in Going Beyond Google in Your Job Search
LinkedIn, Monster, Google. I have watched countless women use these sites as their primary source for job searching. Trying to advance their careers, trying to earn more money, or trying to grow their jobs.
But they often feel discouraged or let down when these sites don’t yield any real results for them.
They aren’t finding jobs that are aligned with their skill sets or finding jobs that they want to do. And not getting callbacks, interviews, or job offers adds to their disappointment.
One of the things that I constantly invite women into is this idea that it's time to go beyond Google for your job search.
We cannot google our way to a six-figure salary, and we really need to apply more meaningful intentions and targeted strategies to go beyond search engines and get real results in our job search.
